1. Hundreds gathered in central Brussels on Thursday for a moment of silence. Meanwhile, officials say there is a direct (connection) between the Brussels bombings in this week and last year's Paris attacks, which appeared to be carried out by Islamic State.
2. President Barack Obama (apologized) to Argentina for the U.S being slow to speak out against human rights abuse during the country's 1976 military coup. Obama paid tribute to the victims of Argentina's "Dirty War" by visiting a memorial. The (president's) trip to Argentina comes during the 40th anniversary of the coup.
3. U.S officials uncovered a massive underground drug tunnel. It links a restaurant in Mexicali, Mexico to a home on the other side of (bordering) California. Along with seizure of the tunnel, authorities netted more than a ton of marijuana.
4. A navy tugboat has been found at bottom of a marine sanctuary near San Francisco. It sank nearly a century ago. Officials (uncovered) the tugboat in nearly 200-feet of water.
