1. Iraqi counter-terrorism forces are battling their way into the city of Fallujah,
with the help of armor vehicles in (shelling) enemy targets. Fallujah is the last major
city in western Iraq still held by the Islamic State group.
2. Several dozens protesters (gathered) outside the federal court house in Arizona on
Tuesday, as Maricopa county Sheriff Joe Arpaio faced a judge over accusations that he
violated a court order in a racial profiling case. The Sheriff's office was put under
court supervision several years ago after a judge found that Arpaio 's officer
profiled Latinos.
3. At least 4 people are dead and 10 others are injured after an explosion at the
suburb way (construction) site near the South Korea's capital Seoul. Officials say
workers were welding iron bars 49-feet underground. The explosion happened Wednesday
morning.
4. A Florida company is making (realistic) synthetic dogs, complete with internal organs
and blood, so veterinary students can operate on them instead of using live animals.
The realistic dog is around $28,000 each and will soon be used in Florida university
veteran school.
