1. Iraqi security officials say a suicide truck bomb in downtown Baghdad killed at least 115 people, and wounded nearly 200 others who were out (shopping) and celebrating early Sunday ahead of the holiday marking the end of Ramadan. A large number of  families and children were reported to be victims of the blast.
2. Tributes were paid on Sunday to the victims of a bloody hostage crisis that left 28 people dead in the diplomatic zone of the Bangladesh capital Dakar. A (makeshift) memorial was set up at at a police roadblock near the holy artisan bakery, where the heavily armed attackers struck.
3. 13 suspects in connection with the (attack) in Istanbul's airport that killed at least 44 people arrived in court. 3 militants armed with the assault rifles and suicide bomb stormed Istanbul's Ataturk airport on Tuesday night.
4. And thousands of Peruvians took to the streets in Lima to take part in the city's gay (pride) parade. Rainbow flags and balloons filled the city's center to mark the event's 15th anniversary.
