    Summary
    Dear Bruce,
It's that time already for me to give you a monthly report on the progress of your English studies. First of all I would like to mention on how pleased I am to have a pleasant and well mannered student such as yourself. I do realize you started E-say one month prior to your actual IELTS examination. I do honestly feel that you should make arrangements to extend your examination date to one month if possible. By practicing writing more short essays for the IELTS will definitely give you the edge to achieve your band score. I hope you can further your studies for one more month for more practice.
    Sincerely,
    Teacher Jeffrey

    Speaking
Part 3 of the speaking test is very similar to Task 2 of the writing, with the same kinds of questions. This means you can use the same strategies to help you give good answers: explain what your opinion is, explain why, and support this with examples or evidence from your own experience. This makes full and interesting answers for the questions in this very important part of the speaking test. A good story can usually wind its way down a long path. There is always a danger that you will begin to bore the interviewer, who may wonder if an end is in sight. Some interviewers may get worried that they won’t be able to get through the fifteen questions on their list during the allotted time. Therefore, find natural breaks in your story and pause for a second. If the interviewer maintains eye contact or asks continuation questions, then keep going. But this will give them a chance to stop the story and ask a different question if they are getting bored and want to move on.

    Listening
In the Listening section of the test, it is important to pay much attention to the recording as it will be played ONCE only. You either get the answer or you don’t and it is as simple as that. It is important to concentrate HARD as you hear the recording. Try to pay attention to the KEY words of the recording as they are probably the answers to the questions. In order to brush up your listening skills, you might wish to attempt to listen to the English channel of your radio and try to take notes as you listen to the voice of the speaker
