爱好

My main interests are sports and exercise. I don’t usually have time to watch sports, preferring to watch movies when I want to relax, but I play many sports. My two favorite sports to play are swimming and badminton. I didn’t start playing badminton until I moved to China, but now I play 2-3 times a week. I think sports are a great way to meet people and to stay healthy. I also like basketball and table tennis. Perhaps we have some interests in common.

2 years of teaching as English instructor I like training students of all levels and it feels good to see my students improving their English. I think that most of the improvement occurs when the students talk about topics that interest them. The best way to learn is when you are communicating about your own interests and hobbies. I’ve found this keeps the classes interesting for both the student and teacher and makes the student motivated to keep improving. I notice that my student’s english quickly and easily improves with each lesson. I believe in positive reinforcement and while I make corrections of mistakes, I make sure to congratulate my students when they put into practice what they are learning. The fastest way to improve your communication ability is to sound natural when you speak, so I like to focus on pronunciation. I have found that many students know the grammar quite well anyway, and that pronunciation is more important to being understood. I like to think of myself as an easy going person and I like to teach lessons that suit your personal needs and will be fun for both of us. My main hope is that I can make you feel confident with your English during our lessons.
