时间总是有的，但有时也要靠你挤出来。俗话说“赶早不赶晚”，没耽搁正事儿还来得及，英文里你该怎么说？

1. Just in time

In time有“及时”的意思，just in time说明时机刚刚好，恰好，不早不晚没耽误。

例：He got to the meeting just in time. They had just started the topic he was supposed to talk about.

开会他去得正是时候，他们刚好开始讨论他想谈的那个事儿。

2. On the dot

就像直译过来“在点上”一样，这个短语表示“准时”、“正点儿”。

例：You've got to be here at 9 on the dot or we won't make the train.

你9点整必须到这里，不然我们就赶不上火车了。

3. In the nick of time

Nick指的是“刻痕”、“缺口”，这个短语跟第一个意思基本一样，都用来形容很及时，还有一种紧要关头救急的紧迫感。

例：The doctor arrived in the nick of time. The patient's life was saved.

医生来得很及时，患者的生命保住了。

4. Before it is too late

在太迟之前，说明也还来得及，这个短语表示“趁还来得及”。

例：Now is the time for you to pull back before it is too late. 

现在是你悬崖勒马的时候了。

5. Beat the clock

这个短语表示在最后期限到来前提前做完，也是紧赶慢赶地节奏~

例：Sam beat the clock, arriving a few minutes before the doors were locked.

山姆争分夺秒，赶在锁门前几分钟到了。
