Once there were two backpackers who saw a bear begin to charge them, so one backpacker took off his hiking boots and put on running shoes.
His companion asked, "You'll never outrun the bear, why are you putting those on?"

The guy with the running shoes replied, "I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun you."
