KABUL, March 16. Xinhua -- A suicide bombing which (shocked) Lashkar Gah the capital of Helmand province in south Afghanistan Monday morning left 11 people dead and 28 more injured, (officials) said.
"Eleven people including nine policemen and two civilians (were killed) and 28 others including three civilians were injured," head of provincial health department Anayatullah Ghafari told Xinhua. No group has claimed (responsibility) for the attack, but Taliban outfit often carry out such offensives
.
Similar suicide bombing in the capital city Kabul on Sunday claimed the (lives) of two civilians and wounded 14 others.
Taliban insurgents who (staged) a violent comeback four years ago have vowed to speed up activities mostly in the shape of suicide attacks and roadside bombings in Afghanistan.
