1. Thousands pro-government demonstrators gathered outside the Greece parliament in Athens to show support for the prime minister's call to reject a (proposed) compromise with the country's creditors. But the head of EU warns if they vote 'No', it won't get them a better deal.
2. The supreme court remains deeply (divided) over capital punishment. By a 5-4 vote in a case from Oklahoma, the court on Monday upheld the use of a controversial drug in lethal injections.
3. Hot , dry conditions are making it (tougher) for fire crews to get a handle on a wildfire in the central Washington community of Wenatchee. The fire ignited Sunday afternoon, destroying homes, forcing hundreds residents to flee.
4. And NBC says it is ending its business (relationship) with Donald Trump , because comments he made about immigrants during the announcements during the presidential campaign. The real estate mogul claimed some (immigrants) from Mexico bring drugs and crimes to the country. Trump says he is now considering suing NBC.
