2. In Paris, violence broke out during a taxi driver strike. French taxi drivers (vandalized) cars, ignited fires and blocked traffic. Riot police showed up. The cab drivers' action came during a nationwide taxi strike against Uber.
3. The governor of Alabama ordered the (removal) of 4 confederate flags which has flown outside the state house. His call came amid a national controversy about confederate flags being display officially on government property.
4. Classic cars receive a new shine thanks to college students in Pennsylvania, and they are earning a (degree) in vintage car restoration. With so many experts starting to have retirement age, some thought it was time for new generation to learn how to keep an old car running.
