1. Six people are dead and seven other seriously injured after a (balcony) collapsed during a 21st birthday party in Berkeley, California. Officials are investigating what caused the fourth-floor balcony to break loose from the side of an apartment (building) early Tuesday morning.
2. Donal Trump will be seeking the 2016 Republican nomination for president. The reality star made the announcement in midtown Manhattan Tuesday, saying the American dream is dead but he will bring it back if elected.
3. Egyptian court confirmed the death (sentence) of ousted president Mohammed Morsi over a mass prison break during the country's uprising in 2011. The sentence makes Morsi, Egypt's first leader in modern history, potentially face execution.
4. The Obama administration is ordering food (companies) to phase out the use of trans fats over the next three years. Officials say they are no health benefits to the fats, and that they are a threat to public health.
