1. The National Security Agency has lost its authority to (collect) the phone records of the Americans in bulk. Republican senator and presidential candidate Rand Paul was able to stop from being extended during an (extraordinary) senate session on Sunday.
2. US secretary of state John Kerry is returning to the US sooner than planned after breaking his leg in a bicycle crash in France. He was just (starting) a four-nation visit.
3. Overnight flooding in the Dallas area could cause problem for commuters on Monday. Officials say they are monitoring floods in several cities (including) Dallas, Carrollton and Irving.
4. And some Californians are getting rid of pools and baths to avoid (wasting) water as drought  the state that makes water expensive. One farmer  company says it's getting more calls than ever.
