1. A strong earthquake hit Nepal on Tuesday just weeks after (another) quake killed thousands. The US Geological Survey said the latest quake had a magnitude of more than 7, and that it hit a remote area.
2. US Secretary of State John Kerry meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. It's Kerry's first visit to Russia since (fighting) began in Ukraine last year.
3. Two men in their 20s were shot and a third was assaulted, close to the University of California's Santa Barbara campus. Authorities believe one of the injured is a suspect, while another suspect fled.
4. And people in Liberia celebrated in the streets after their country was (declared) Ebola-free. The Ebola outbreak killed more than 4,700 people in Liberia.
