1. A senior Iraqi military commander says the Islamic State fighters are putting up a tough fight in Ramadi. Iraqi (forces) are trying to retake that city which is west to Baghdad.
2. About 100 people in Chicago went to a (ritual) outside the home where police shot and killed the 55-year old woman and a 19-year old man. Officer shot the pairs and responded to a call about the domestic disturbance early Saturday.
3. Texas officials are discouraging travel (through) the Texas Panhandle . Blowing and drifting snow has made the road in much of the area impassable.
4. Flooding has shut down a section of interstate, I-70 outside of St. Louis. Storm over the past few days was blamed for (several) deaths in number of states. At least 8 of them are in Missouri.
