1. President Obama met with his national security team at the Pentagon in a rare meeting outside the White House. Obama says the U.S (military) and ally forces are hitting the Islamic State group harder than ever.
2. Thousands residents were evacuated in Philippine as Typhoon Melor slammed into the east of the country. The typhoon is (bringing) wind with 95 miles per hour, gust up to 115 miles per hour and carrying heavy torrential rain.
3. Israeli police say a Palestinian driver rammed into pedestrians near the western entrance into Jerusalem, wounding 9 people before he was killed. The (attack) is the latest in the 3 month period of near-daily attack.
4. A Christmas parade next to the streets of Bethlehem, the first of its kind in the typical west bank city. The show mixed ancient and (modern) traditions  and focused on the holy family's stay in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus according to the Christian faith.
