1. An American service man has been (killed) in Iraq. Secretary of defense Ash Carter announced on Tuesday. An U.S military official said the militant was killed while performing his duty as an adviser to Kurdish Peshmerga troops.
2. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (participated) in an opioid drug abuse discussion, where she shared a story how a former intern died from her opioid overdosed. Clinton was part of the substance abuse and (addiction) discussion when campaigning in West Virginia on Tuesday.
3. The U.N envoy to Syria and Russian foreign minister began talks in Moscow on reviving the stalled ceasefire in Syria. Staffan de Mistura said May will be an important month to Syria and the international community as efforts (continue) to bring peace to the troubled country.
4. The Brazilian torch rally for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics has kick-off the torch was ignited by embattled president  Dilma Rousseff. The 3-month rally across Brazil ending the (opening) ceremony on Aug,5th in Rio will involve 309 cities and 1200 torch carriers.
