2. The libertarian governor nominated Gary Johnson to be its 2016 presidential candidate. Former Massachusetts governor William Weld is his (running) mate. The party is hoping for a strong showing, due to the wide dissatisfaction with the leading presidential candidates.
3. Presumed (republican) nominee Donald Trump spoke in Washington on Sunday at the annual rolling thunder motorcycle rally. The event honors (service) member Missing in Action. Trump to take better care of veterans.
4. And tropical depression "Bonnie" is causing wide-spread flooding on the Georgia and South Carolina (coastline). The storm is expected to drop up-to 6 more inches of rain in some places.
