1. Turkey's state-run news agency says more than a dozen people have been detained in connection with the Istanbul (international) airport attack. 3 of those detainees are said to be foreign nationals. Turkish police conducted raids in Istanbul on Thursday, targeting Islamic State suspects.
2. The Philippines sworn in Rodrigo Duterte as its new president Thursday. He is known for his maverick style and for his (threats) to kill massive number of criminals.
3. Authorities in east of San Diego say two bodies were found, days after a wildfire swept through the area. The man and woman have not been (identified) but a couple who lived there were reported missing.
4. And authorities say a grizzly bear attacked and killed a mountain biker just outside Glacier national park in Montana. The man and a second biker apparently surprised the bear on Wednesday.
