A Libya airliner with 104 people on board as crashed during landing at Tripoli's airport. At least 103 people have been confirmed killed with the young Dutch boy, the only known (survivor). More than half of the passengers are believed to have been from the Netherland. VOA's Elizebeth Arrot has more details from Cairo. The Africa Airway's plane was arriving from Johannesburg South Africa and is believed to have crashed just short of the worng way. The Libyan owned airline says 93 (passengers) and 11 crew members were on board the flight 771 as it attempted to land. A Libyan official says the young Dutch boy who was the lone survivor did not have left threaten injuries. Weather is not believed to be affecter. Authorities announced an investigation is under way but (initially) ruled out the terrorist attack. Elizebeth Arrot VOA news, Cairo. Mr.Cameron spoke Wednesday alongside cooalition partner, a new deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg. US President Barrack Obama is meeting with his Pakistan counterpart Hamid Karzai in Washington. The meeting is to improve strained relations between the two governments. President Karzai arrived at the White House Wednesday for talks to be followed by a (joint) news conference and a lunch with Mr. Obama. Gunmen have killed a prison official in southern Afghan city of Kandahar. Authority say attackers are on motorcycles shot and killed deputy prison's administrator / early Wednesday while he was in the way to work. The Taliban meanwhile has claimed responsibility for that (attack). The Thai government is threatening to block supplies of food, water and electricity to the protest site of the Red Shirts on Wednesday nigtht if these demonstrators refused to go home. The Thai authority leaders say they need more time to ensure that those measures will have a minimum impact on those living near the encampment which has located at Bangkok's main commercial (district). The Red Shirt leaders meanwhile dismissed the threat of government seeds. Nigerians, meanwhile have a high expectations for their new president Goodluck Joanthan. President Jonathan says his belief administration will inspire to uphold the values the Mr.Umaru Yar'Adua represented including a committment to good governors, fighting (corruption) and enacting electoral reform before next year's nation-wide vote. Human rights activist / says electoral reform and corruption should be the focus of President Jonathan's work because they are the issues of the most directly affected the lives of the Nigerian people. Attorney / says fighting corruption in Nigeria begins with an honest cabinet. In his cabinet,President Jonathan has taken personnel responsibility for boosting electricity. The International Criminal Court chief prosecutor says he plans to open cases against 46 people by the end of the year in connection with Kenya's 2008 post eletcion violence. Luis Moreno-Ocampo is in Kenya this week to meet with officials and the victims of the violence that killed 1300 people and displaced 300000 others. Chinese State run news outlets say a night building (assistants) killed 6 school children and a teacher. The Xin Hua news agency says the attack occured early Wednesday morning at a kindergarden in northwestern Shanxi province. The report says the murder children were hacked to death, 20 others were injured. Another Hanjiang official told Xinhua that the attackers killed themselves but did not provide (details). Economic reports released on Wednesday indicate that demand is growing in many places in the world, with the sign of continuing economic recovery. Wednesday's report from the US Economic Department shows US demand for foreign goods grew in March as consumer spending increase in world's largest economy.
