1. In Texas, 170 people have been arrested and charged following a shootout in Waco among val biker gangs, leaving nine bikers dead. Police say they're being (charged) with engaging in organized crimes for now. Those charges could be upgraded. Officials say five * biker gangs were involved.
2. Amtrak service along the northeast corridor (resumes) almost a week after a train derailed in Philadelphia, killing eight and injuring more than 200. Amtrak authorities say trains are in complete compliance with federal safety orders.
3. The White House is calling the (capture) of the Iraq city of Ramadi by Islamic State militants a setback. The militants've forced eight thousand people to flee from their homes since they took over the area.
4. And students in Costa Rica are tackling hunger, one insect at a time. Food Technology students created cricket cookies and beetle cakes to help (combat) hunger in developing countries. The insects offer a good source of proteins and nutrients.
