Appreciation Letter

Dear David and Catherine,

I am writing this letter to thank you two together with E-say for having improved my English greatly because I had got 6.5 in my speaking section of IELTS last month.

To begin with, it's my pleasure to express my heartfelt gratitude to Catherine, a kind-hearted, fully qualified, and lovely assistant teacher. With your efficient help, my course at E-say is going very well all along. I was so busy with my job that I did not attend classes regularly and always found some excuses to ask for leave. It is you that always encourage me and remind me of going to class.

Secondly and more importantly, I ‘d like to express my deep gratefulness to you, Dear David, a perfect conscientious English teacher at E-say with native pronunciation and sweet voices. As you said, I was only one student of you who never did your homework, however, I got 6.5 in the exam last month,more importantly, my IELTS score in speaking section is always on the top of other sections in my last 3 exams, it is incredible! After the exciting time pass, I start to reflect upon the reasons why a lazy student can get a high score. Finally I find it because I am lucky to meet a responsible teacher with sweet voice, beautiful pronunciation, great patience, David .You give your effective teaching according to students’ personality. With your amazing insight , you can find my lethal weakness in my English, and then help me to overcome them. To illustrate, I used to add some wrong pronunciation like “er” behind the words unconsciously and have a bad habit to repeat sentence again and again. The more I solve the problems , the more I can get score. In addition, your ways of learning English are so effective to me ,I still remember the points of the answers in IELTS is high score words ,supporting sentence and the transitions. Also I find it is a short cut for a busy guy to recite some excellent topics you give me. I think I can get a higher score if I can follow your suggestion and study more diligently. More importantly , it is you that give me self-confidence to speak English, I find I enjoy communicating with you, I think there is a charm of your English classes. Now, whenever I meet someone who speak English ,I can have a conversation with him or her confidently.

Further, I have to say that it is you who give me hope and courage to challenge an IELTS score of 7.0. Now I have successfully gained the conditional offer of the Sheffield University which require an IELTS score of 7.0, with reading and writing sections over 6.5; and no sections below 6.0. Please help me again.I promise you that I would devote myself more into the study of English, I will turn myself from lazy boy to diligent one .To make more improvement ,I have quited my job and extent my classes of E-say.I known the only way to repay your great labor and E-say is just an equivalent substantive growth in English and also a visible high score for the test.

Finally, I think E-say is great success of being No. 1 phone English in the world because there are so   many conscientious perfect teachers like David and Catherine. Thank you David and Catherine and E-say again.
